Theresa Shafik (Feb. 21, 1928 - Sep. 14, 2016) was an Egyptian writer who never published any of her books, his best one according to her grand daughter Sarah Medhat was The Courageous Mark which is a short story of a teenage boy named Mark who has Down Syndrome and faces challenges he has facing his relatives and the society.
